posting to a message board so we don't have any further information. Contact

Found May 1
Kestrel found! Over 3.5 miles from last
sighting. He is recovering just fine. Many thanks to the many people
who were involved in finding and returning this little guy.
Lost April 29
Male American kestrel driven
off by crows just a few blocks northeast of Northgate Mall. Wearing
black anklets and jesses. No bell. Should come to a garnished fist
or lure if whistled at. Missing three central tailfeathers. If

Falcon in White Center (south of West Seattle) with jesses. Possibly
a peregrine; bigger than the crows that were pursuing it. For

LOST Dec 29
Eight-year-old female peregrine
falcon. Last seen over the Nisqually Valley, near the south rim not
far from McKenna, a few miles from Yelm. Airplane searches have been
unsuccessful, but she could have easily ranged 50+ miles by now. Leg transmitter tuned to 216.079 Mhz,
two bells, anklets but no jesses. Not an imprint, but may approach
people looking for food or try catching pigeons at a loft. She will
come down to a dead pigeon or pheasant or a lure. Anyone with any

A passage female Golden Eagle. Wearing jesses and telemetry.
Telemetry frequency is 216.023. Last seen heading southeast from

Passage male red-tail last seen flying near Carnation Washington on
Lake Joy Road wearing jesses, and has ragged-edge tail feathers. If

Female kestrel, North Bend the
night of Feb. 7. Jesses; no telemetry. Call (425) 831-7646
Sighted January 22 10:30 am
"Falcon with a short line attached to her
leg" at Sixty Acres soccer fields in Redmond. It flew down and ate
treats a dog trainer was using. The soccer fields are on NE 116th
Ave off Willows Road in Redmond, bordered on the west by the
Sammamish slough. Reported by non-falconer, that's all the info we
have.
LOST January 19
Immature Tercel Peregrine. Band Number
RW084512. Black anklets with no jesses. No telemetry. Last seen near
Olympia January 21, 30 miles from home.
Escaped from large breeding room when ceiling nets tore from ice and
snow. May come to a live pigeon or meat on a line. He allowed a
person to approach and actually pick him up and carry him on their
hand so he is not real wild but is not an imprint. If you see

LOST September 4
Immature female gyrfalcon near Stanwood. She could be anywhere by
now but is most likely in the Puget lowlands. She has a tail-mounted
trans. (med-2 on an RB-4) but the batteries may be dead by now. Call

Sighted early August
A "brown falcon with white on its head & tail"
and jesses has been spotted at least twice in the Normandy
Park/airport area. If you have lost a bird matching this
